Bihar DGP Gupteshwar Pandey, the officer who was recently in limelight during the Sushant Singh Rajput case, has taken VRS i.e. Voluntary Retirement. It is being speculated that Gupteshwar Pandey has taken this retirement to contest the upcoming Assembly elections from Buxar on a BJP ticket.
However, he said, 'I have not joined any political party as of now and I have not taken any decision on it yet. As far as social work is concerned, I can do it without entering politics too.'
