The Election Commission has directed Gaya District Magistrate to lodge FIR against BJP MLA Prem Kumar for violation of model code of conduct. The BJP candidate and Agriculture Minister in Nitish Government was seen at the polling booth wearing a mask with the party’s poll symbol.
Reacting to the issue, Kumar said the act was ‘unintentional’.
"I couldn’t throw attention on it as I was busy... and it was not part of a campaign," he told local journalists in Gaya.
