COVID-19: India's Active Caseload Falls Below 7 Lakhs For First Time After 63 Days

The pace might be less but cases of the novel coronavirus keep mounting in the country daily but India's active caseload is also coming down. This is the first time in two months (63 days) that the number of active patients in the country has gone down below 7 lakhs. Currently, the number of active Covid-19 patients in the country is 695,509.

The last time when the number of active patients in the country was below the figure of 7 lakhs was 63 days ago. At that time, the number of active patients was 697,330 as of 22 August in the country.
