Coronavirus cases have crossed 57 lakh mark in the country. Out of these, 86,508 new cases have been identified in the last 24 hours while 1,129 patients died due to COVID-19.
India is the only country in the world where more than 80,000 cases are being reported every day. At the same time, everyday deaths in India are also increasing compared to other countries. India ranks third in terms of deaths in the world, while it is second in the case of infected patients.
