As former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh turned 88 on Saturday, leaders from across the political spectrum poured wishes on him.
PM Narendra Modi greeted his predecessor, praying for his “long and healthy life”.

However, in view of the Coronavirus pandemic, Dr Singh refrained from meeting anyone on his birthday.
On Saturday morning, President Ram Nath Kovind, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Congress President Sonia Gandhi met and congratulated him. Apart from these, many state Chief Ministers and Congress leader Rahul Gandhi wished him on his birthday.
