A teacher who had reportedly shown cartoons of the Prophet Mohammed in class was beheaded in Paris on Friday. In response, the French police shot dead the assailant while trying to arrest him.
The incident, which is being probed by the authorities as terror activity, took place on the outskirts of Paris near a school in Conflans Saint-Honorine.
French President Emmanuel Macron calling it a 'terrorist attack' urged the nation to stand together against extremism.
