The Indian Medical Association (IMA) on Monday came down heavily on the Municipal Corporation of Delhi over the non-payment of salaries to the resident doctors of the Hindu Rao hospital. IMA demanded the authorities to immediately clear all dues of the doctors and pay them their salaries.
"Indian Medical Association (IMA) takes serious exception to the unfortunate situation in Hindu Rao Hospital which is under the management of Delhi Municipal Corporation. IMA demands that the authorities should pay the salaries of the doctors along with the dues immediately," IMA said in an official statement.

Meanwhile, mayors of all the 3 municipal corporations have sat outside the residence of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, over the non-payment of salaries of the employees of the municipal corporation. Mayors say, "Either call us in or we'll sit here in protest. We won't move from here," reported a news agency.
