The Facebook-owned messaging platform, WhatsApp, has finally rolled out an update that allows its users to mute a chat forever. After years-long demand of Whatsapp users, the Menlo-Park based company on October 22 took to Twitter to announce their much-awaited update.
Until now, WhatsApp only allowed users to mute a chat for a few hours, weeks, or a year. The company has now replaced the option of muting chat for 1 year with forever. To get the feature, users need to update their app via Play Store.
