The ongoing agitation of the farmers against agricultural laws continues for the eighth day in a row at the Delhi-Haryana entry points even as mercury dipped and the COVID-19 pandemic refuses to slow down.
After the last failed negotiations, the fourth round of talks between farmers and govt representatives are underway to break the impasse over contentious farm bills. However, the farmers have accused the government of creating differences among farmers to harm the cause.
Punjab Kisan Mazdoor Sangharsh Samiti Joint Secretary SS Subharan alleged that the Central Government was trying to divide the farmers. He added that till PM Modi himself does not hold a meeting with the leaders of all 507 farmer unions, he will not attend any meeting and the farmers' movement will continue along the Singu border.
