Six Civilians Injured In Pakistani Firing Along LoC

Six Indian nationals have been injured in Pakistan firing on the international border along Jammu and Kashmir. The firing took place in Nowgam and Tangdhar sector of Kupwara district, after which there is an atmosphere of fear among the population living in the border areas. All the injured have been admitted to the hospital.

According to an army officer, Pakistan started firing. During this time mortars were fired and people were targeted with other weapons. All the injured people are residents of Tangdhar sector, but mortars have also been fired in Naugam. The officer also said that a proper response is being given to the Pakistani firing.

In recent months, there has been fierce firing on LoC from Jammu and Kashmir. Local people, as well as soldiers, have also died in this.
