SP Leader Adil Chaudhary's Alleged 'Threat Video' Goes Viral

Adil Chaudhary, the leader of the Samajwadi Party (SP), is purportedly heard expressing threats in a viral video posted on social media "The state of Uttar Pradesh will elect our government. We're not going to let them go without a fight "The BJP slammed the SP for fielding anti-majority community candidates in the Uttar Pradesh elections, leading the SP to issue a statement.

Mr Chaudhary is heard saying in the viral video that if his party wins the upcoming Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections, "not a single individual will be spared."

"You are all stress-free! In Uttar Pradesh, our government will be constituted. We will not spare them, inshallah. The way they commit crimes against us.... All these moves will be met with retaliation from us. They (the opposition) will see their mistakes. Then they'll consider a hundred times before attacking us. They will be afraid to leave their homes. My brothers, the battle against them is far from done "In the viral video, he is apparently heard saying.

Mr Chaudhary's statements were met with cheers from the small audience that had gathered to hear him speak.

"Adil Choudhary, SP candidate from Meerut South, threatened Hindus, saying, 'If our government comes, we will not leave it... will be avenged selectively," BJP's National Information and Technology Department chief Amit Malviya tweeted hours after the video went viral on social media.
