The Delhi High Court on Friday said the recent coverage of FIR against climate activist Disha Ravi shows "sensationalised and prejudicial" reporting by the media and that it cannot disseminate information in such a manner.

This comes a day after three news channels got notice on Ravi's plea linked to the coverage of her arrest for her alleged role in sharing a toolkit backing farmers' protest.

In her petition, the activist had sought action against three news channels - News 18, India Today, and Times Now - for publishing contents of her alleged private chats, thereby violating Cable TV Network rules
