In Uttarakhand, Roadways Workers Unions will be on strike throughout Wednesday over salary and other demands.
More than 3,500 workers associated with the union are likely to take part in the strike. A large number of them are drivers and conductors, due to which bus services are expected to come down to 80 percent.
The Dehradun division of the state has already been on strike for five days over their seven-point demands including payment of salaries.
About 1,200 workers from the Dehradun division are on strike. The roadways management has called the employees for talks today.
