Veteran Journalist Kamal Khan Dies At 61 Of Heart Attack

Senior Hindi journalist Kamal Khan died in his Lucknow residence today of a heart attack, aged 61. Media reports that he suffered a cardiac arrest at 7.30 AM today, following which he was rushed to the hospital where doctors declared him dead. He lived in Buter Palace in the state capital.

He had been working with NDTV as an Executive Editor at the time of his death and was a recipient of the Ramnath Goenka Award and the Shanker Vidyarthi Award. He had worked at the channel for 27 year since 1995.

 Messages of condolences and praise poured in from politicians and the journalist fraternity, including Shravan Kumar Shukla and Brajesh Mishra who expressed their shock and sadness as soon as the news was announced.

Social media users also expressed their sadness and paid tributes to the veteran journalist online.
