COVID-19 Combat: Motorcycle Maker Makes Mobile Ambulances

Motorcycle maker Hero MotoCorp is providing 60 first-responder mobile ambulances to authorities across the country as a part of its COVID-19 relief efforts.
These will be serviceable for reaching out to patients in rural and distant areas and moving them to the nearest hospitals.
The ambulance accessories include a sleeping arrangement with essential medical equipment such as a first-aid kit, oxygen cylinder, fire extinguisher and siren.
The Hero Group says it has already committed a corpus of Rs 100 crore towards relief efforts in the country.
It has also offered a group-run university complex in Dharuhera, Haryana as a 2,000-bed hostel for use as an isolation and treatment ward.
