Fuel Prices Soar Again, Petrol Crosses Rs 80 In Mumbai
Even as crude oil prices in the international market have been falling, petrol and diesel prices increased to scale fresh highs on September 30. After remaining flat for three days, petrol and diesel prices are on the rise again.
The price of petrol was up by 8 paise per litre and that of diesel by 9 paise per litre in the national capital. With the rise, petrol is priced at Rs 74.42 per litre and diesel is priced at Rs 67.33 per litre in Delhi.
In Mumbai, the petrol price rose by 8 paise to Rs 80.08 a litre. The rate of diesel was increased by 9 paise to Rs 70.64 per litre. However, in the past three days, fuel prices had remained unchanged. On Friday, the price of petrol was up by 15 paise per litre and that of diesel by 10 paise per litre in the national capital.
