Jio Joins Airtel-Vodafone-Idea In Tariff Hike

In a big jolt to its mobile customers, Reliance Jio announced on Tuesday that its tariff plans will become more expensive in the next few weeks. On Monday, Vodafone-Idea and Bharti Airtel had announced their decision to hike their tariff plan from December 1.

Jio said that there will be no impact on data consumption due to the tariff hike. Jio also said that it will follow government rules while hiking the tariff plan. 

However, the companies have not yet revealed anything about the new costs of their tariff plans.

Currently, the number of Jio customers is 35.52 crore. Apart from this, Vodafone-Idea has 37.24 crore customers and Bharti Airtel has 32.55 crore mobile users.
