Maruti Cuts Production For Seventh Consecutive Month

India's largest car company Maruti has cut the production of vehicles for the seventh consecutive month. In the month of August too, there has been a huge decline in the sales of the auto sector. Because of which car manufacturers have decided to cut their production.

Despite the attractive offers from car companies, customers are missing from the showrooms. 


- In the month of July, Maruti cut the production of its vehicles by twenty-five percent (25%).

- In June, these cuts were 15. 6 percent.

- 18% in the month of May, 10% in April and 21% in the month of March.

- Maruti started cutting the production of vehicles from the month of February. The stock was collected in December 2018 due to the non-sale of cars. Due to this, Maruti had to give huge discounts on vehicles.

Apart from Maruti, Mahindra & Mahindra has also stopped production for 13 days from April to June quarter.

Tata Motors and Honda also stopped production from June to April.
