Mobile Tariffs To Get Expensive From December 1

In a big blow to mobile users, Vodafone Idea Limited and Bharti Airtel — which are dealing with economic crises — have announced that their tariff plans will get more expensive from December 1. Telecom companies say that it is extremely necessary to increase tariff for better service.

While Vodafone Idea said that they are increasing tariff to give their consumers a world-class digital experience, Bharti Airtel said that their first priority is to provide consumers cost-effective tariff but it is also necessary to maintain a balance with their financial needs.

Apart from this, Vodafone Idea said that India has the cheapest mobile data in the world, with constant demand in the market. Hiking the tariff plan will help increase the revenue and operating income of these two telecom companies, which are operating in loss at present.

However, these two telecom companies have not yet revealed by how much the tariff plan will be increased.
