Petrol, Diesel Prices Rise For Seventh Consecutive Day

Petrol and diesel prices continued to rise for the seventh consecutive day today. The price of petrol was up by 29 paise per litre and that of diesel by 19 paise per litre in the national capital. With the rise, petrol is priced at Rs 73 per litre and diesel is priced at Rs 66 per litre in Delhi.

In Mumbai, the petrol price rose by 28 paise to Rs 79.57 a litre. The rate of diesel was increased by 21 paise to Rs 70.22 per litre.

If the last seven days are taken into account, then the petrol price has gone up by ₹1.88 per litre and diesel price by Rs 1.50 a litre.

Petrol and diesel prices have been rising daily for the last 7 days from September 17.
