Petrol, Diesel Prices Up By Rs 5 Per Litre In Nine
When people's pockets have dried up during the Coronavirus pandemic, the prices of petrol and diesel are skyrocketing.

Oil companies continued to hike prices for the ninth consecutive day. As per the latest revision, petrol in Delhi cost Rs 76.26 and diesel is Rs 74.62.


Petrol prices are up by 48 paise and diesel by 59 paise, while on Sunday, petrol was costlier by 62 paise and diesel by 64 paise.

The fuel prices continued to rise since June 6. On June 5, petrol in Delhi was sold at Rs 71.26 and diesel at Rs 69.39 per litre. In these nine days, the price of petrol has increased by about Rs 5.

Apart from Delhi, the price of petrol in Kolkata is Rs 78.10 and the price of diesel is Rs 70.33 per litre. One litre of petrol in Chennai is being sold for Rs 79.96 and diesel at Rs 72.69. Similarly, petrol in Mumbai is being sold at Rs 83.17 per litre and diesel at Rs 73.21 per litre.
