RIL Becomes First Indian Company To Cross Rs Nine
Reliance Industries (RIL), owned by Asia’s richest person Mukesh Ambani, on Friday, created history after becoming the first India firm to hit the Rs 9 lakh crore market capitalisation mark.

During late morning trade on BSE, the company's market cap was Rs 9,01,490.09 crore. 


In August 2018, oil-to-telecom major Reliance Industries became the first domestic firm to get past the Rs 8 lakh crore mark in terms of market valuation. 

In 2019, RIL’s stock has climbed 28 percent so far. 

IT giant TCS was at a distant second with a market cap of Rs 7.66 lakh crore.
