CBSE X & XII Board Exams Get Underway On Saturday
Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Class X and XII board examinations have begun from Saturday. Examinations for both classes are starting with vocational and skill-based subjects.

Examinations for CBSE Class X will go on till March 20 and for Class XII till March 30, 2020.


On the first day, while Class X will have examinations for subjects like Retailing, Media, Security and Agriculture, Class XII will have exams for subjects such as Multimedia and Web Technology, Banking, Horticulture, Short-hand and Music Production.

Special rigorousness has been maintained at all centres of the CBSE in view of the examinations. Students will have to appear for the examination wearing school uniforms, in the absence of which they will be evicted from the exam centres.

This year, a total of 18,89,878 students are appearing for Class X exams and 12,06,893 students are appearing for Class XII exams.

The CBSE has made 5,376 exam centres for Class X examinations and 4,983 exam centres for Class XII examinations. It has also released an app named CBSE ECL APP. With the help of this app, students can reach their exam centres very easily.
