No Examination To Be Held For Class X Students Nat
No board examinations will be held for class X students nationwide, except for the students from North-East Delhi, the union human resource development minister Ramesh Pokhriyal said on Tuesday.

The minister in a tweet said that an adequate time of 10 days will be given to all students for the preparation of exams.

The Minister also clarified to the students of north-east Delhi that there was no need to reappear in these examinations if they had already appeared.

“These exams will be conducted again for those few students who could not appear in these exams on the scheduled date due to the impact of the law and order issues that day. The new schedule will be announced within two days,” he added.

The North-East students have been exempted from the order as their exams were affected due to the anti-CAA protests, months before the COVID-19 lockdown.

CBSE Board exams were underway when the coronavirus pandemic stuck the country, following which exams were postponed until after lockdown period.

Earlier in the day, the HRD Ministry announced that IIT-JEE (Main) exam will be held from July 18 to 23 while the NEET exam will be conducted on July 26.
