A potential reunion was on cards since Jennifer Aniston hinted last year that something was cooking.

“We would love for there to be something, but we don't know what that something is. So we're just trying. We're working on something.” Aniston while speaking to show host Ellen DeGeneres about ‘Friends Reunion’

The original show followed the lives of six reckless adults living in Manhattan, as they indulge in adventures which make their lives both troublesome and happening.

The yet to be named special will be directed by the famous British producer and director Ben Winston.
