This film has become the first R Rated, that is, adult, film to have earned so much money. In India, this film has become the highest-grossing film based on detective comics. Earlier, in 2018, the film ‘Aquaman’ had earned more than $1 billion worldwide. Along with India, ‘Joker’ has become the highest-earning film based on DC comics in 33 countries including Argentina, Italy, Mexico, Russia and Spain. This film has not released in China till now.
