‘Kabir Singh’ Is 2019’s Highest-Grossing Film

Three quarters of the year 2019 are over. In these 9 months, more than 70 Hindi films have been released. Out of these, some performed very well at the box office, while others proved to be disappointing. Many have emerged as big earners not just on the Indian box office but have performed well in the overseas market too.

Let’s take a look at the highest-earning films of the first three quarters.


Three films entered the Rs 300 crore club. ‘Kabir Singh’ topped this list with worldwide earnings of Rs 372 crore 30 lakh. ‘Uri: The Surgical Strike’ found the number two spot with Rs 342 crore 06 lakh. In third place was ‘Bharat’ with a collection of Rs 314 crore 68 lakh.

Five films entered the Rs 200 crore club. The first was ‘Mission Mangal’ with worldwide earnings of Rs 288 crore 64 lakh. In second place was ‘Gully Boy’ with a collection of Rs 238 crore 16 lakh. The third spot went to ‘Total Dhamaal’, with Rs 228 crore 27 lakh. At number four was ‘Super 30’, which earned Rs 208 crore 92 lakh. The fifth and final spot was taken by ‘Kesari’ with a collection of Rs 207 crore 09 lakh.
