Post-Diwali, Delhi-NCR air is constantly becoming more toxic and it has now reached a ‘dangerous’ level. On Wednesday too, the AQI in many areas has crossed 400.

Even though it has been three days since Diwali, the air in Delhi-NCR is still toxic and it has now reached a ‘dangerous’ level. On Wednesday too, entire Delhi-NCR is covered in a layer of smog. Also, the layer of mist and fog has deepened. 


You can assess the situation from the fact that in the morning, in Delhi’s Lodhi Road area, PM 2.5 was at 500 and PM 10 was at 379.

Apart from this, in Delhi’s Chandni Chowk area, PM 2.5 was at 598 and PM 10 was at 673. In Noida, PM 2.5 was at 519 and PM 10 was at 535.

Meanwhile, in view of the rising pollution, the Delhi government has issued a health advisory and asked people to take several precautions.
