Get To The Oxygen Bar For Some Fresh Air
The menace of air pollution has opened up a business opportunity as Delhi gets its first ‘Oxygen Bar’. Here, in this unique bar, customers can get high on fresh air which comes in multiple flavours.
On weekends, people often go to clubs or bars to enjoy themselves. But people in Delhi-NCR are now heading to an ‘Oxygen Bar’ to protect themselves from the growing pollution. People in Delhi-NCR, who face difficulties in breathing in fresh air due to the rising pollution, can now go to an ‘Oxygen Bar’.
This is Delhi’s first oxygen bar, which has opened in Select City Mall. People here are enjoying fresh air along with music. If people are to be believed, they are relishing breathing in the fresh air in the ‘Oxygen Bar’. Bar Director Ajay says that the ‘Oxygen Bar’ was started keeping in mind the manner in which Delhi’s air is getting poisonous. The ‘Oxygen Bar’ has seven types of aromas and it costs Rs 299 for a 15-minute session. People with asthma or any other type of respiratory ailments are not given aromas. Air pollution levels in the national capital are constantly rising and now they have reached hazardous category. According to the State of Global Air Report, 1.2 million Indians died in 2017 due to ailments caused by air pollution. Given all this, it remains to be seen how effective the ‘Oxygen Bar’ will prove to be for people in Delhi. Watch the full report here:
