Narkanda Snowfall Attracts Hundreds

Famous as ‘Snow City’ throughout the world, Himachal Pradesh’s Narkanda is playing host to scores of elated tourists these days. Several feet of snow has accumulated here due to recent snowfall and this is being enjoyed to the fullest by people fond of trekking and skiing.

Along with tourists, people eager to learn skiing have also gathered here. They say that the skiing course is being conducted successfully at the Trekking and Skiing Centre, Narkanda, and they are learning its intricacies here. They also say that they get to meet new people and learn a lot from them as well.

Meanwhile, the skiing trainer says that their aim is to increase the inclination of the youth towards local sports and for this, the youth are being given training here.

People from Delhi, Chandigarh, Punjab, Haryana and many other states arrive in Narkanda to enjoy skiing amid the continuing snowfall. After Manali, there is a lot of scope for skiing here, because of which means of employment are being made available to local youth.
