COVID-19: 4,500 Deaths In Past 15 Days, Fatalities Near 10,000-Mark
Despite all efforts from the Central and State governments, the coronavirus infections have nearly doubled.
Over the last 24 hours, 10,667 new cases were reported and 380 deaths. According to the Ministry of Health’s latest bulletin, the total number of coronavirus cases in the country has increased to 343,091 while the death toll nears 10,000. Meanwhile, active cases in India stand at 153,178.

That is, the COVID-19 death rate has almost doubled in just 15 days. On June 1, the death toll from Coronavirus was 5,598, but by June 15, the death toll has reached 9,900. That is, there have been about 4,500 deaths in the last 15 days.
