Four COVID-19 patients recover through plasma ther
The condition of four coronavirus patients in Delhi had been critical but all four have nearly recovered after plasma therapy was administered to them.

Delhi Health Minister Satyendra Jain said that so far, the plasma therapy has been given to six coronavirus patients. Among them, four patients who were given the therapy four days ago have almost recovered now.


The condition of all four patients was serious and the results of the plasma therapy are very encouraging. 

At a time when medical science is engaged in formulating a vaccine for the coronavirus, plasma therapy has raised new hopes towards fighting the pandemic.

Efforts have sped up in several states of the country to treat coronavirus patients and help them recover using plasma therapy.

Plasma therapy has also begun in Bengaluru’s BMC Victoria Hospital on patients whose condition continues to be critical.  

State Health Minister B Sriramulu and Medical Education Minister K Sudhakar said that a clinical trial has been initiated by administering plasma therapy to critical patients.

After two patients were found in Bihar’s Naya Bhojpur and Buxar, the number of coronavirus patients in the state has reached 225.

Sanjay Kumar, the state’s Principal Secretary, Health, said that the Bihar government is making preparations for plasma therapy in AIIMS, Patna.

Amid this, people connected to the Tablighi Jamaat in Tamil Nadu who have defeated the coronavirus have asked for plasma donations.
