India COVID-19 Cases Cross 23,000, Record 1,684 Ne
The number of coronavirus patients in the country has crossed 23,000. According to the latest data from the Health Ministry, the coronavirus contagion has been found in 23,077 patients and 718 people have died so far.

Apart from this, 4,749 people have either recovered from the disease or been discharged from the hospital. 


According to the Health Ministry, a record 1,684 new patients have been found in the past 24 hours.

After the new figures came in, the total number of patients in Maharashtra has reached 6,430. In Gujarat, the state at the second spot, 2,624 cases have been reported so far.

The number of patients in capital Delhi has reached 2,376.

Amid this, Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Dev has announced that the state is coronavirus-free. He said that two coronavirus patients had been found in the state. While one patient had already recovered earlier, the test report of the second patient has now come out negative.

Goa and Manipur are already free of the coronavirus.

At the moment, the number of coronavirus patients across the world has crossed 27 lakh 25 thousand and 1 lakh 91 thousand people have died from contracting this pandemic.

Among these, over 50,000 deaths have taken place in the United States alone.
