Still, Risk of Corona Explosion In India, Warn WHO
More than 40,000 COVID-19 cases have been reported in the last 5 days in the country and in spite of the lockdown which lasted more than 66 days, the coronavirus infection in the country is spreading rapidly. Now a leading expert of the World Health Organization, Michelle Ryan has claimed that the situation has not become explosive due to the opening of the lockdown but the risk is intact.

However, Michelle Ryan also believes that the situation in the country is not out of control. According to their estimates, the pace of doubling of cases in the country is currently 3 weeks. India has become the sixth most affected country in the world leaving behind Italy with 2.36 million COVID-19 cases.

The World Health Organization has warned India that due to the removal of lockdown, there may be a surge in coronavirus cases in India. The speed with which corona cases are spiking in India, it is possible that India can reach much higher in the world table. As of now, it has reached number one in Asia. The novel coronavirus has shaken the entire world's medical system.

In India too, this epidemic is spreading rapidly due to which it is difficult for all people to get government health treatment. In such a situation, there is support for expensive private hospitals, but in a developing country like India, private hospitals are out of reach of crores of people. In such a situation, the World Health Organization said that India needs to pay attention to the health insurance scheme Ayushman Bharat.

Dr. Tedross, the head of the World Health Organization, said that the Government of India has an opportunity to improve the Ayushman Bharat Scheme, especially the primary healthcare. Now, if it is implemented better, it can prove helpful in dealing with this epidemic. The Modi government launched the Ayushman Bharat scheme in the year 2018.

The government claims that the Ayushman Bharat Scheme is the world's largest health insurance scheme. Recently, Prime Minister Modi said that under this scheme, more than one crore people have benefited from the scheme. However, all types of health services have been affected in this lockdown and there has been a decrease in patients associated with this scheme as compared to earlier.
