With Over 74,000 COVID-19 cases, India Now At 12th Spot Behind China
The coronavirus pandemic has hit 74,281 people across the country and 2,415 people have died due to this virus so far. This figure is increasing so rapidly that India is at 12th place now right behind China.
According to the Johns Hopkins University, around 83,000 cases of the coronavirus have come to light in China and they are a little more than the 74,000 cases in India.
If the pace of infections does not reduce, then in the next three days, the number of COVID-19 cases in India will surpass China. China, where the first infection was found last year, has managed to bring this virus under control. Meanwhile, despite all kinds of restrictions, the number of patients in India is increasing swiftly.
