51 Recovered COVID-19 Patients Test Positive Again
The coronavirus infection has created a stir in the field of medical science. Information related to this deadly virus is surprising scientists every day.

Now, 51 coronavirus patients who had been discharged from the hospital after treatment in South Korea, have been found to be coronavirus positive again.

The South Korean news agency YONHAP, citing the Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (KCDC), has said that the 51 coronavirus patients belonged to Daegu and North Gyeongsang Province. They had been discharged after recovering from the coronavirus but now they have become infected again.

Daegu and North Gyeongsang Province are among the places worst-affected by the coronavirus in South Korea.

KCDC Director-General Jeong Eun-kyeong said that the likely reason for these people being found to be coronavirus positive once more is the virus becoming active again.

According to doctors, there is less possibility that these people would have become infected again because there is no gap in the time between their discharge from hospital and tests being conducted again.

A team of experts has been dispatched for Daegu to properly study this shocking case.

Over 10,000 coronavirus cases have come to light in South Korea and the country has kept the infection under control to a large extent.
