Five People, Including 2 Children, Killed In Small Plane Crash In Georgia
Five people were killed when a small plane crashed in US’ Georgia on Friday. Apart from the pilot in the aircraft, there was a couple and their two young children, who died in the accident.
According to the US media, the family was headed to a funeral from Florida to Indiana.
The plane went down about 3 p.m. at Lake Oconee in Georgia. The emergency team rushed to the spot and put out the fire, but by then all five people had died. According to officials, the victims were identified as Larry Ray (67), pilot and owner of the aircraft; Shawn Charles (41); his wife Jody Rae (43); and two children, 6-year-old Jayce and 4-year-old Alice. The US Federal Aviation Administration has started investigating this plane crash.
