World's most liveable City
Long been known for its grandiose architecture, lashings of green spaces and traditional coffee shops, Vienna has been named the world’s most livable city for the second year running, narrowly beating Melbourne. Topping the table with almost perfect scores, the Austrian capital was awarded 99.1 out of 100 points again in the Economist Intelligence Unit’s annual livability Index.

By contrast, New Delhi registered the biggest decline in Asia due to an increase in petty crimes, poor air quality and inadequate water provision. The national capital has dropped by six places to rank 118th, the list showed.

The list ranks 140 cities for living conditions across five categories, with factors ranging from crime to humidity.
