14 Dead In Two Separate Road Accidents In UP & Maharashtra

Fourteen people died in two separate road accidents on Sunday. The first accident took place in Uttar Pradesh’s Unnao district and the second incident is from Maharashtra’s Yavatmal.
A van caught fire after colliding with a truck on the Agra-Lucknow Expressway in U.P.’s Unnao district, due to which the seven passengers of the van were burnt alive. After a rescue operation lasting an hour, five dead bodies were extricated from the van and later, the vehicle was cut open to remove two more corpses.
The second accident took place in Maharashtra’s Yavatmal, where seven people died and 15 were injured after a vehicle overturned. The injured have been admitted to a hospital nearby, where they are undergoing treatment. According to information coming in, these people had gone to the Koteshwar Temple to immerse the mortal remains of a relative and were returning to Jodmoha after completing the last rites when the accident took place.
