Air Quality 'Very Poor' In Delhi-NCR, AQI Above 350 In Many Areas

The air in Delhi and the entire NCR has turned poisonous again. On Saturday, AQI in many areas of Delhi-NCR is above 350 and it has now reached the ‘very poor’ category.
In Delhi’s Chandni Chowk area, PM 2.5 was 362 and PM 10 was 315.
Near Delhi’s Mathura Road, PM 2.5 was 361 and PM 10 was 346. Apart from this, near Delhi airport, PM 2.5 was 345 and PM10 was 288. In Noida, PM 2.5 was 379 and PM 10 was 291. Meanwhile, according to SAFAR and IMD, pollution levels are expected to remain the same on Sunday as well. Speaking on the serious state of pollution in Parliament on Friday, Union Environment Minister Prakash Javadekar said that it took China’s Beijing 15 years to deal with air pollution but we will improve air quality in lesser time than this.
