Cyclones 'Bulbul' And 'Maha' on Course For Landfal
According to the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), two big cyclones ‘Maha’ and ‘Bulbul’, are fast acquiring frightening form in both parts of the country.

Keeping in view both the cyclones, the IMD has issued an alert and advised people to stay away from the coast. Both cyclones have surrounded the country from two sides. If these cyclones acquire a terrifying form, it will directly impact Maharashtra, Gujarat, West Bengal and Odisha.

The IMD has said that cyclonic storm ‘Maha’ is progressing at a speed of 21 km per hour.

Meanwhile, cyclonic storm ‘Bulbul’, which is taking shape in Bengal, will now become stronger. It is 930 km from West Bengal’s Sagar island and 820 km from Odisha’s Paradip. There is a possibility of heavy rains due to this storm in West Bengal, Odisha, Andaman-Nicobar and north-Eastern states of the country.

The people of Odisha seem most wary of the cyclonic storm ‘Bulbul’ because they had to bear the brunt of ‘Fani’ storm in the month of May this year.
