Fire At Cloth Godown In Delhi Claims 9 Lives
Incidents of fire persist in national capital Delhi and nine people have died once more in a fire-related accident there. The latest case is from Delhi’s Kirari area, where a fire broke out at a cloth godown in Indira Enclave late on Sunday night.

While nine people died in the fire, several others were injured. The condition of some of the injured persons is serious and they have been admitted to the Sanjay Gandhi Hospital and a nearby private hospital.


On getting news of the incident, fire tenders reached the spot and began dousing the fire. After hours of effort, the fire was brought under control.

There have been several major incidents of fire in Delhi this month. On December 8, 43 people had died in a fire at the Anaj Mandi on Delhi’s Rani Jhansi Road. Apart from this, on December 14, a fire had broken out at a plywood factory in Delhi’s Mundka area.
