India's Population Density A Big Worry Amid Covid-
The World Economic Forum has released a 3D map of the world showing citing population density figures of the European Union, which has produced a grimy picture of India, in the context of coronavirus pandemic.

According to the map, 138 crore people of India live in about one-third of the total land area of China. In simple terms, the land area of China is so large that three India can be settled inside it, while the population of China is only slightly more than India.

Clusters denoting high population density are visible in Mumbai, New Delhi, and Kolkata in pictures released by the World Economic Forum. Comparing India's 3D pictures with other countries of the world in this report, India comes out as a very crowded country.

The latest Health Ministry report states the population density along with the population of the country has increased tremendously in the last decade, and in July 2019, on an average 411 people were living in one square kilometre. This figure was 386 in 2011.

Delhi is most crowded among all Indian cities, where 13,446 people live in one square kilometre. Chandigarh is second with 10,386 people living in one square kilometre. The population density is 5,153 in Puducherry, 1,276 in Bihar, 1,094 in West Bengal, 938 in Uttar Pradesh, and 905 in Kerala. Arunachal Pradesh has the lowest population density with only 18 people living in a square kilometer.

According to a report by the Statista website, India ranks 27th in terms of population density in the world, but except China, all other countries are very small countries. According to the website, the population density of China is 671.

It is evident that India is less developed than China and has more people living in poverty. In such a situation, with increasing density, the burden on the resources of the country is also high.
