J&K: 'Terror Free' Baramulla District Rocked By Terror Attack, Two Dead Including CRPF Jawan
The militants ambushed and attacked CRPF personnel in the Sopore town of the Baramulla district in Kashmir Valley on Wednesday. One soldier and one civilian were killed in the attack while two soldiers were injured.

The condition of both the soldiers remains critical. The soldiers belong to the 178th battalion of CRPF and the extremists ambushed and fired at them.
According to state DGP Dilbag Singh, the attack took place in Model Town in Sopore. The entire area has been cordoned off and a search operation is on.

Sopore is a town in Baramulla district of North Kashmir. Last year, the Jammu and Kashmir Police declared this district to be the first terrorism-free district in the valley, but the bloodshed has returned to the region once again.
