LPG Prices Keep Moving North
After the rising prices of onion and the hike in mobile tariffs, the Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) has increased the price of non-subsidised cooking gas cylinders for the fourth consecutive month on Sunday.

After a hike of Rs 13.50, the price of one non-subsidised cylinder in Delhi has now become Rs 695.50.


In Kolkata, there has been a hike of Rs 19.50 in non-subsidised cylinders. After the hike, the price of one non-subsidised cylinder here has become Rs 725.50. Apart from this, one non-subsidised cylinder in Mumbai has become expensive by Rs 14 and its new price is Rs 665. In Chennai, one non-subsidised cylinder is dearer by Rs 18 and it is now available for Rs 714.

In Delhi, in the month of November, the price of one non-subsidised domestic cooking gas cylinder was Rs 681.50. In the past four months, there has been a hike of around Rs 120 in the price of non-subsidised gas cylinders. In Delhi, in the month of August, the price of one non-subsidised domestic cooking gas cylinder was Rs 574.50.

The IOC has also increased the price of 19 kg gas cylinders, which are used for commercial purposes. In Delhi, there has been a hike of Rs 7.50 in one 19 kg gas cylinder and now its new price is Rs 1211.50. There has been a hike of Rs 17.50 in Kolkata, a hike of Rs 9 in Mumbai and a hike of Rs 14 in Chennai, in the price of 19 kg gas cylinders.
