Communal Rant By Senior Meerut Cop
The Uttar Pradesh Police have been famous for their non-professional attitude, which can be witnessed time and again during protests against the Citizenship Amendment Act.

After objectionable videos of Ghaziabad Police and Kanpur Police came to light, now a video of Meerut Superintendent of Police (S.P.) Akhilesh Narayan Singh has gone viral.

In this video, Singh is asking protesters to go to Pakistan and threatening to ruin their lives by slapping cases against them. Singh has termed his objectionable statement as ‘justified’ and said that since the protesters were raising slogans of ‘Pakistan Zindabad!’ (Long Live Pakistan!), he asked them to go to Pakistan.

But were the protesters really raising ‘Pakistan Zindabad!’ slogans? Singh did not furnish any evidence of the same.

Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra said that the Bharatiya Janata Party has injected so much communal poison into national organisations that officials today have scant regard for the constitutional oath.

After objectionable videos came to light in various cities of U.P., actress Swara Bhaskar levelled serious allegations on U.P. Police. Terming the attitude of the Meerut S.P. as shameful, she said that there is not much difference between U.P. Police and rioters.
