Preparations Complete For Kartarpur Corridor Inaug
Preparations for the 550th birth anniversary of Baba Guru Nanak Dev have been completed in India and Pakistan.

The Kartarpur corridor will be opened on November 9, the credit for which is being given to Congress leader Navjot Singh Sidhu and Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan. There are hoardings depicting this in Amritsar.

The first batch of pilgrims from India will leave on November 9 and it will include former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh, Union Ministers Harsimrat Kaur and Hardeep Singh Puri, and many other famous personalities.

However, Navjot Singh Sidhu has not yet been given approval for the trip by the Ministry of External Affairs.

Prior to the inauguration ceremony, Pakistan has released a music video in which there is mention of restoring peace between the citizens of the two countries. However, many Khalistanis, including Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale, can also be seen in the video.

Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Captain Amarinder Singh said that India needs to be alert. Meanwhile, former CM and head of the Shiromani Akali Dal Prakash Singh Badal said that such things have no relevance on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev.

The Kartarpur gurudwara is located in Pakistan’s Narowal district. This district lies next to the Indian border. Indian intelligence agencies have issued an alert about training camps for extremist elements being located here.
