India’s tale of independence entails several stories of sacrifices and one such evocative tale is that of Bhagat Singh, a socialist revolutionary, who was hanged for his acts against the British at the age of 23.

Bhagat Singh, born on 28 September 1907, was one of the greatest revolutionaries of the Indian Nationalist Movement and is still revered by the youth of India for his brave acts and revolutionary thinking. 


He is often referred to as Shaheed Bhagat Singh.
