State-Wise Break Up Of Coronavirus Cases And Deaths

The number of coronavirus patients keeps increasing. According to Health Ministry data at 8 a.m. on April 24, the total number of patients in the country has reached 23,077 and there are 17,610 active patients. While 718 people have lost their lives so far, 4,748 people have recovered as well.

The highest number of deaths in the country has taken place in Maharashtra (238). Over here, 6,430 cases have been reported and 840 people have recovered as well.

In Gujarat, 112 people have lost their lives due to the coronavirus so far. While 258 people have been discharged, the total number of patients is 2,624.

In Madhya Pradesh, there have been 83 deaths. The total number of patients here is 1,699 and 203 patients have been discharged.

There have been 50 deaths in Delhi. Over here, 2,376 cases have been reported and 808 patients have recovered.

In Rajasthan, 27 people have lost their lives so far. While 230 people have recovered here, the total number of patients is 1,964.

In Andhra Pradesh, 27 people have died. While 895 cases have been reported here, 141 patients have recovered.

In Uttar Pradesh, 24 people have lost their lives so far. While 206 people have recovered, 1,510 people have contracted the coronavirus here.

In Telangana, 960 cases have been reported. While 24 people have died here, 197 have been discharged as well.

In Tamil Nadu, 20 people have died. While 1,683 cases have been reported here, 752 people have recovered as well.

In Karnataka, 17 people have lost their lives so far. While 145 people have recovered, 445 people have contracted the coronavirus here.

There have been 16 deaths in Punjab. Over here, 277 cases have been reported and 65 people have recovered.

In West Bengal, there have been 15 deaths. While 103 people have recovered, the total number of patients here is 514.

In Jammu and Kashmir, five people have lost their lives so far. While 92 people have recovered, 427 people have contracted the coronavirus.

There have been three deaths each in Kerala, Haryana and Jharkhand. In Kerala 447, in Haryana 272 and in Jharkhand 53 people have contracted the coronavirus. In Kerala 324, in Haryana 156 and in Jharkhand eight patients have recovered so far.

In Bihar, two people have died so far. While 153 cases have been reported here, 46 patients have been discharged as well.

Apart from this, there has been one death each in Odisha, Himachal Pradesh, Assam and Meghalaya due to the coronavirus.

The coronavirus has hit 33 states in the country so far and the number of patients is increasing rapidly.
