UP: At Least 14 Ministers In Grip Of COVID-19, Dea
At least 14 UP Ministers have tested positive for Coronavirus. On Friday, Minister of State for Jal Shakti Baldev Singh Aulakh tested positive. The Yogi-led UP government has failed badly on the law and order front and in stemming the spread of Coronavirus pandemic.

Two cabinet ministers have also succumbed to the virus infection.


Minister Baldev Singh Aulakh has isolated himself and urged all those who came in contact with him in the last few days to undergo the test.

Among the infected Cabinet ministers are Siddharth Nath Singh, Satish Mahana, Moti Singh, Jai Pratap Singh, Brajesh Pathak, Mahendra Singh, Dharam Singh Saini, Upendra Tiwari, GS Dharmesh, Mohsin Raza, Bhupendra Singh Chaudhary and Uday Bhan Singh are included before Baldev Singh Aulakh. While two cabinet ministers Chetan Chauhan and Kamla Rani Varun of UP government succumbed to the virus infection.

Thousands of new cases are being reported every day, bringing the infections past 2.53 lakh while more than 58,000 cases are active and the death toll nears 4,000.

UP has become the fifth worst-affected state by COVID-19 in the country.
